Lee Sweetapple is very excited to be on Amazon.de. Lee studied German for 2.5 years in High School and an additional year in college. He visited Germany with his family in 2008. Lee grew up in Miami Springs, Florida and graduated from the University of Miami in 1983 with a BA, in Politics and Public Affairs. He retired from the U.S Army Reserve Military Intelligence Corps as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2003. He currently resides in the foothills of the Shenandoah Mountains,in beautiful horse and wine country. An avid antique aviation enthusiast, he flew a P-51C Mustang for his 50th birthday. He also enjoys sword collecting, hunting, skiing, and SCUBA diving. His most recent book, Key West Revenge was published in late September 2012. The book is set in the Florida Keys, Miami, and the Everglades, all places he knows well. In work is Prodigal Sons. In this action filled book, an archaeological discovery in Cyprus leads to a chase across Europe with an outcome that could change global relationships and the map of the Middle East. Lee's charities include Virginia Hunters Who Care, a chapter of Hunter's for the Hungry, and the Commemorative Air Force's Red Tail Squadron educational outreach program. Lee also invented the sport Bowathlon, and authored that sport's rules. Bowathlon involves running and archery and is based on Olympic Biathlon rules.
