Christopher J. Probst

Christopher J. Probst is a visiting assistant professor at Saint Louis University, where he teaches courses in modern European history, including Nazi Germany and the Holocaust. His research focuses on Protestant views of Jews and Judaism in twentieth-century Germany; he is most interested in how German Protestants viewed Jews and Judaism in the decades before, during and after the Holocaust. He completed his PhD studies in modern European history at Royal Holloway, University of London. In 2008 he was a Charles H. Revson Foundation Fellow at the Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
