Shirley Ford

Shirley Ford, after a lifetime moving around England and Wales, now lives in Dorset with her husband and little rescue dog called Bailey. She is retired from full time work and now devotes many hours to writing.

Her first novel - Every Why - is now available as a Kindle book and she is busily writing the sequel, so readers won’t have to wait too long for questions left unanswered.

Shirley Ford runs a writing group in her local village called the Jurassic Coast Writers. She belongs to a local book club, and a country dancing group, but one of her passions is Tai Chi, she regularly attends classes and recently took part in World Tai Chi Day in Exeter in Devon.

Shirley Ford’s book of poetry entitled ‘Heartfelt’ is almost ready for publishing. Originally published under the pen-name of Lucy Green and entitled ‘There Is Hope.’ Some content has been altered and extra stories and anecdotes added. In the pages, you will find everything from heartache, despair, and hope, through to joy and humour. The poetry is simple, written from the heart and rhymes! Which is considered rather old fashioned these days. But there is room for all sorts.

Her web sites are: www.shirleyford.co.uk and www.every-why.co.uk
