Dave Brett

My name's Dave and for the past 8 years all I have done is none stop travelling. I got bitten by the travel bug back in 2005 and I haven't stopped since. It's been a crazy journey from then till now, and believe me when I say; I'm not thinking about stopping any time soon.

From the age of 15 I have travelled to over 60+ countries, studied and lived in Finland and The Netherlands, worked and lived in Singapore, Switzerland and the USA, and this was all funded on just a shoestring budget.

Not only have I gained all these travelling experiences, I'm qualified as well. I studied travel and tourism at Harlow College for two years and then went on to study International Travel and Tourism Management at Swansea Metropolitan University. So I have a degree in travel (pretty crazy hey!), and all this whilst juggling my addiction of travelling.

At the moment I'm studying a master's degree in social media at Tilburg University in The Netherlands, which is another interest of mine.In my free time I enjoy running my travel blog: www.traveldave.co.uk and through my blog (and this book) I hope to give something back to the world by offering my travel advice to all that want to listen and hopefully encourage others to take the path I have taken, as this is something that I have gained so much from.
