Mark Anderson Smith

Mark Anderson Smith is a Scottish author who lived in York, England—the setting for his latest novel: Fallen Warriors—for ten years.

Mark confesses he had the initial idea for Fallen Warriors while daydreaming through a church service. He longs to see the Church return to the passion and power the early apostles displayed.

Mark has been writing since he was Eight and worked on and off to complete Fallen Warriors for ten years. He is the author of The Great Scottish Land Grab, a contemporary political tale of one man's fight to reverse the Highland Clearances and transform Scotland, first published in 2014.

Mark has written and published two short stories: Dragon Lake and The day we all finally had enough. The first a tale of pure adventure, set in Central Asia where Mark lived for two years; the second a dark and violent vision of the revenge many would secretly like to take on their puppet masters.

Also, author of the Shower Room Saga (10 Plumbing Tips and the sequel: Finish The Job!), tongue in cheek stories of plumbing and DIY failures and how you can avoid his mistakes.

Married with three children, he works as an IT Consultant in Scotland, developing applications for businesses, databases and reports. Mark is passionate about goals and a few years ago accepted a challenge to write down 100 goals. To date he still hasn't stood on a new planet or learned to fly, but insists there is still time…
