Ann Collins loves to photograph beautiful and interesting places, bringing those places to other people via her photos. Most of her photography is nature oriented. Some images are grand landscapes. Others are intimate landscapes or even close-up abstracts. America’s national parks, state parks, and coastal areas present endless opportunities to appreciate and capture nature’s beauty. Rugged shorelines, stark deserts, snow-covered mountain peaks, rock-strewn creeks, and ancient forests make Ann’s heart beat faster when she is traveling with her camera. To share her travels, she has created a line of blank writing journals that feature her fine art photography inside and on the cover. In addition, there are inspirational quotes related to nature and life. Everyone needs nature, and Ann hopes that her photos inspire people to get outside, travel to beautiful places, and capture their own experiences by writing in their journal and taking photos.

Ann has also authored several suspense-related romance novels, PROTECTING JENNIE, A MATTER OF MARRIAGE, and BLUE DIAMOND DEATH. Her first coffee table book, LA JOLLA: JEWEL BY THE SEA, combines her photography with history and fun facts about her hometown of La Jolla, California. Her photos have also been published in calendars and magazines. Prints of her work hang in homes, hotels, office buildings, and healthcare facilities, bringing the outdoors inside for people to enjoy.
