I retired from hospice nursing in 2002, after 47 years in diverse fields of nursing. I moved to Key West where I immediately plunged into my next career - writing. While living in Key West, besides covering the city commission meetings, I enjoyed community and political activism, writing more novels, and working on my memoir (And Then There Was One under Peggy Butler) which was released in December, 2013. After several years, I moved back to West Palm Beach to be near my two daughters, four granddaughters (one now lives in Kansas) and soon to be born great-granddaughter, whom I've enjoyed taking care of a few days a week since she was three weeks old.
