Tracey Dowtin

Tracey Dowtin, owner and event planner of Tracey Dowtin Events, painter at Abstracts by Tracey, Owner and buyer of Le’ EUnique Diva Boutique and is also a business mentor and coach to small business owners and entrepreneurs. Through her mentoring program she is able to assist and mentor entrepreneurs and small business owners with their business plans, strategic planning, marketing and long-term goals for success.

Tracey was born in Chester, PA and raised in Washington, DC where she attended DC Public Schools. After graduating she was eager to enter the “real world” and decided to skip college and join the workforce. It wasn’t until years later and working in a not-for-profit organization that Tracey decided to further her education and attend Northern Virginia Community College and pursue her degree in Psychology. Out of all the classes that Tracey took, it was the classes with the writing assignments that she was more interested and seemed to enjoy the most. For her, writing is something that she loves and finds as an easy task.

Throughout Tracey’s life, she always loved to write. Whether it was journaling or creating short stories, writing always presented itself as fun, entertaining, relaxing and creative. Being passionate about writing, Tracey decided that she would write a novel. Even with her busy schedule, she was able to complete the novel in her spare time.

Her next goal is to become a motivational speaker, life coach and write many more books. She’s happiest when she’s extremely busy and helping others succeed. In her spare time, she loves to paint & create abstract art, refurbish antique furniture, cook, shop, travel, learn new things, watch the history channel and spend time with loved ones. She’s adamant about showing others that you don’t have to settle for where you are in life, and can bring your dreams to pass by tapping into the gifts that God gave you. Tracey resides in Prince George’s County, MD.
