Alexander Alich, PG Cert., Doctoral Research Student, has been working as a teacher, practitioner, and researcher in the fields of Shamanism and Integrative Medicine since the late 1980s. He is the founder of the FoxFire Community and director of the FoxFire Foundation which he founded in 1988.
Alexander has lectured internationally on shamanism and Native American medicine for the general public, healthcare practitioners and shamanic practitioners and has been published in a variety of specialty magazines including: Shamans Drum Journal, Sacred Hoop, Healing Today and CoMed.
Today he practices and lectures in Berlin, Germany. He specializes in training shamanic practitioners and maintains a special interest in ethical practice, professionalism and patient safety in the field of shamanism.
