Edmund lim was staying in a kampong in Clementi.Around the area there was a Maju Camp, Children's Aid Society and a Technical Colledge.

He represent school in rugby,socker tournament and was a member of judo club. Having been a member of people's association and participate in several activities and leadership course.

He was a badminton player,after injured his right shoulder from overstretching and had to stop from playing since then.
