I loved writing Annie's Lights it is actually based on some facts that did happen, but of course most of it is believable fiction. I am a proud Yorkshireman which is why much of the story is set in Bradford, Ilkley and Leeds although I had to add some International perspective from Latvia and Spain which I am also familiar with.

In my personal life my partner Sharon is my inspiration for the story and her support got me to write it, I have a great daughter Joanne and son Phillip who I am completely proud of, I also have step children who I am also proud to call friends in David and Sam who I love to bits.

Then we get to Grandchildren who basically control me, they are Ella, Joseph, Sophie and Thomas and they are brilliant at keeping me on my toes.

I do have to mention my brother John who you might recognise from Annie's Lights, John is very much what you see is what you get and all I can say is dont change because I love you to bits.
