Henry Daniels

Henry Daniels was born in West Yorkshire in 1952 and educated at Bradford Grammar School and Leicester University. He went on to do a Doctorate in linguistics at the Université Lyon II (France). He has lived and had a variety of jobs in England, Italy, Norway, Switzerland and in France, where he now lives with his wife, having recently opted for early retirement from his post as Professor of Linguistics at the Université de Bourgogne, in order to devote more time to writing.
