Vanessa Bird

Vanessa Bird lives in West Sussex with her fiance. She wrote her first book, Light at the End of the Bottle, to highlight how difficult she found getting help with alcoholism through 'the system'.

Learning to Feel Me in Sobriety is Vanessa's second book. Things weren't quite as straight-forward as she assumed when she finally got sober. Although grateful for her recovery, this book notes the little issues that came from living a sober life and how she had to learn how to feel again.

She has been sober for 7+ years and strongly supports abstinence-based recovery.
