Awais Khan

Hi Everyone, this is Awais Khan. I am the author of In the Company of Strangers. This is my debut novel and I'm very excited about it. I am a graduate of The University of Western Ontario and Durham University, but I didn't start writing this novel until I joined the Faber Academy.

I am an avid reader and like everything from Literary fiction to historical fiction, contemporary, honour and young adult. In addition to this novel, I am also working on a dystopian young adult trilogy and a novel on honour killing in Pakistan. My work has appeared in literary magazines like The Aleph Review and The Missing Slate to name a few.

I am represented by Annette Crossland (A for Authors Agency Ltd). In the Company of Strangers is published by The Book Guild and Simon and Schuster IN.
