I am a Scottish writer, originally from Aberdeen city, but now living in the beautiful town of Peebles in the Scottish Borders with my husband and two children. My love of writing stretches back to childhood, when I used to devour books at night by torchlight and write little stories in my notebooks. Today, my love of reading and writing is as passionate as ever and I hope that you enjoy all that I release. It is fair to say that I have eclectic tastes in the words I both read and write - from stories for children - to dark tales of adulthood, thrillers and espionage.

My first release, THE MYSTERY OF INSCH BRAE HOUSE, covers a few of these bases: it is a mystery written for children set in a fictional Scottish seaside town, which sees my characters become amateur sleuths in the search for the truth about spooky Inch Brae House. My little reviewers tell me it is a fantastic read for both boys and girls, and especially if you are aged 5-9 and enjoy reading yourself, or being read chapter books at night by a grown-up.

Much of my inspiration for this book comes from my own childhood and summers spent running wild at the Scottish seaside.
