When I started to write One Student to Another, I was 19 years old. I was finishing my sophomore year at UMass Lowell. Even though I had not yet reached my 20's yet at the time, I had experience a lot in my college career. I had just finished a Fall Semester of 24 credits (8 classes) while on the Division 1 Track & Field team. While writing the book, I was simultaneously balancing the Spring Semester of 27 credits (9 classes) while working full time at an internship.

Flash forward a year, I was 20 years old and finishing my college classes, without debt, and was working in a full-time role at one of the top startups in the world which would come to be the fastest profitable company to reach a billion dollar valuation in US history.

Why am I telling you this? I tell my story to you because I was not the top of my high school. I didn't get a perfect score on the SATs. I failed 5 out of the 7 Advanced Placement tests I took in high school. I'm here to tell you that as soon as you walk off that stage at graduation, you are in control. No matter what cards you have been dealt, you have the chance to create your own future.

As you read through this book, you will get a look into the experiences I had during my college years and how you can change the course of your life using the tips written here. I wrote this book for you. It does not matter what has happened in the past. Your story begins here and now. I wrote this book so that you can take what I have learned and use it to build the life you want.
