C.J. Karpinski

C.J. Karpinski is the founder of Jumble Grove Press and the author of thoughtfully designed picture books that spark curiosity, imagination, and connection. With a background in Creative Writing and a master’s degree in Human-Centered Design, she brings both storytelling craft and intentional design to every book she creates.

Inspired by her own childhood and the everyday moments she shares with her children, C.J. writes stories that encourage exploration, emotional growth, and a love of learning. Her books are created to be read aloud, revisited often, and grown into over time.

She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and two children, where family adventures and quiet reading moments often inspire her next story.
