Katrina Brown

Katrina is a wife and mother of four. "Dancing with Kayden" is her debut book, inspired by her lived experience with her son, Kayden, who was diagnosed with 7q11.23 Duplication Syndrome. In 2017, she lost her son to a sudden cardiac arrest.

Writing became a way for her to process her emotions and grief. She hopes to raise awareness of the syndrome and celebrate the many ways children can shine their light. She enjoys spending time with her husband and kods, visiting zoos, parks, and Main Event to name a few.
