Shakti Amarendra

Shakti Amarendra is a technology executive, AI strategist and board governance thought leader with over 25 years of experience leading enterprise-scale innovation across global organizations including Amazon, Equifax, Dell, HP, NXP and Philips. An alumnus of IIT Guwahati and IIM Bangalore, he has led large-scale transformations spanning AI, cloud platforms, distributed systems and enterprise modernization.

He is the creator of the Autonomous Enterprise Governance (AEG) Framework and several original governance concepts including Evolutionary Trust, Governance Drift, the Stochastic Tax, Agentic Technical Debt and the Legacy Intelligence Index. His work focuses on helping Boards and CXOs govern autonomous enterprises where AI increasingly participates in organisational judgement.

Shakti is also an inventor with 12 granted patents and 16 defensive publications. Through his writing and speaking, he aims to bridge technology, governance and leadership, enabling organisations to innovate responsibly while building resilient, trustworthy and future-ready enterprises.
