Donna Weeks

I am a retired occupational therapist, a grandmother of four, and a lifelong lover of children, creativity, and storytelling. My journey as a children’s author began when my daughter searched for an interactive book for my 18-month-old granddaughter—one that encouraged engagement, exploration, and connection—but couldn’t find exactly what she envisioned. She encouraged me to create one myself, bringing a lifelong dream to life.

I dreamed of becoming an author from the time I was a child, when my mother bought stacks of notebook paper because I was always filling pages with stories and ideas. Today, I combine my experience as an occupational therapist with my love of writing to create interactive books that help children learn, play, and build meaningful memories with the adults who love them.
