The history of what appears to be an early casualty amongst the North American interurbans although according to the index the steam operated Newark and Marion Railroad was still in operation at the time of publications. One of the authors served as a conductor on one of the lines for three years. Up to page 160 covers the systems route by route with pages 165 to the end being maps and reproductions of printed ephemera.
