Original copy, 2nd edition dated February 1952. 48 pages, frontis. photo of the Meteor in flight plus fold-out cockpit illustrations with keys. Part I covers a general description of the aircraft including fuel and oil systems; engine controls; cockpit equipment including canopy operation, etc; Part II deals with Handling, Part III - limitations; Part IV Emergencies - engine failures, crash landings, ditching etc; Part V has fold out illustrations of the cockpit, and fold out flight charts. The cover has light edge wear with rusting to staples. Internal pages are very good . This manual came from the estate of Squadron Leader Peter M."Jim" Jewell, Lightning pilot,his own personal copy, with his name in ink just legible on the front cover.5 X 7.5 inches. Very good copy.
