Covers heavily worn and spotted, binding strip and endpapers possibly replaced at some point in the early 20th century, hinges lightly cracked but secure, text block sound, pages age-darkened but clean, modern name and address stamp in blue at the top of the first page of the advertising section and at the bottom of the final page, map foxed and with numerous old repairs to the reverse side using clear paper tape, some additional separation along fold lines, but complete. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.

Zustand: Good +. Boston: Charles Stimpson, 1832. First Edition. Hand-colored map (22x36cm) folded down into original gilt-tooled maroon morocco binding (8x6.5cm). Map quite fragile with extensive splitting and occasional old tape repairs along verso folds though image is complete; light rubbing to leather margins, else a Good, still bright example of this scarce little map of Boston.

Later cloth, with original front paper cover laid down. Folding map frontis published by Stimpson in 1837. 14, 414 [misprinted as 314] pp. Inner hinge cracked, text clean and Very Good.
