Hardcover. Zustand: Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 176pp. Volume is very firmly rebound in an ocre library cloth binding with a gilt title on the spine. Light damp stain to bottom right margin and mild toning to edges otherwise interior VG. The Journal is in both French and English with the translation done by Samuel Abbott Green as stated on the title page. This manuscript/journal was evidently discovered in a Paris book stall and describes the authors military exploits in the young United States.
