Leather Bound. Zustand: Fair. 2 volumes: ill., maps (some folded), [17] leaves of plates ; 28 cm. Second edition. Quarter leather over marbled boards. Large folding map in fair condition, lacking final sheet and creasing. Foxing, tears to folding plates. Front board detached to volume I. Slight cracking where endpapers meet. Minor discoloration to preliminary pages. Folding and darkening to first map in Volume I. Map adjacent to page 123 has minor staining around corners. Bryan Edwards was a renown English politician and historian, and a strong supporter of the slave trade. In the 1794 edition, both titles were consolidated into a three volume collection.
