He came to the United States from Milan as a concert violinist in 1909. His instruments are highly sought after.

A substantial consecutive run, from May, 1945 (whole number 57) through October, 1952 (whole number 119), lacking only whole number 60. Condition is mostly very good or better, with occasional stray markings, and a few rear wrappers either lacking or quite worn. Overall, however, it's a crisp, clean, well-preserved group. Significant runs of this magazine are hard to come by.

Bessie Bell Collier Ellery was an American violinist who studied under Franz Kneisel. The book itself is a little worn overall but lacking any major damage. There are several newspaper articles and a pamphlet fastened to the last couple page and rear cover. Loose inside the book and included here, there are also several letters and pieces of letters between the book's author and Bessie Bell. Nothing signed or written from her, all to her. As well as a large amount of newspaper articles, pamphlets and various paper miscellaneous items relating to, Franz Kneisel, Stradivarius instruments, people and displays and events associated with those subjects. Inscribed by Author(s).
