Zustand: Fair. 1946. First Edition. 155 pages. No dust jacket. Full bound leather with gilt lettering to front board. Black and white illustrations and plates throughout. Pages are slightly tanned with minimal foxing throughout. Heavier tanning towards start and end of the book. pencil mark to front free endpaper. Illustrations and plates are bright and clear, with some light tanning and foxing to edges. Binding is shaky. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Visible split to both joints. Moderate sunning to spine with heavy crushing to its ends. Peeling leather at corners and edges. Boards are bowed.
