The book has silk moire patterned end papers, a silk ribbon marker and the sewn binding is very tight. The book appears unread. Illustrated by William Small, this extremely impressive limited edition has finally achieved an heirloom standard production, which is richly deserved. An attractive collectable of an enduring work of genius, but the other point to make is that this great novel is utterly and addictively enjoyable.
