Both bound in publishers full brown leather with gilt arms on upper cover. Volume two has a bookplate of the Armourers & Brasiers Company with a presentation to the author underneath. From the author's library. A presentation dated 1961 in both volumes says "Presented to Mr. Roy Stamp for the library of Biggs of Maidenhead by W. H. Ellis grandson of the author". Some light rubbing to edges of leather. All edges gilt. A superb production. The colour of the leather is slightly different owing to the gap in the printing of both volumes. Scarce.
