(4 affirmative by Crawford and 4 negative by Alexander); Second Day, Prop. 2: The Scriptures teach that the sacrificial substitutionary death of Jesus Christ was on behalf of all men. (4 affirmative by Alexander and 4 negative by Crawford); Prop. 3: The Scriptures teach that the grace of God that saves men cannot be successfully resisted by men to whom it is extended. (2 affirmative by Crawford and 2 negative by Alexander); Third Day, Prop. 4: The Scriptures teach that men can resist the grace of God that brings salvation to men. (2 affirmative by Alexander and 2 negative by Crawford); Prop. 5: The Scriptures teach that there is an effectual call to salvation which is extended only to the elect, and that they cannot successfully reject it. Pastor Roy Lawrence Crawford (1925-2006) was a Missionary Baptist Minister for over 62 years in Hayward, California at the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. He was a great teacher and preacher, and was instrumental in establishing Landmark Baptist Schools and Colleges across America.
