It was submitted as an entry for the Certificate in Education, Spring 1974 and appears to have never been published. Dedicated to the Rev. A. B. Andrews, B.A. incumbent in the parish of Goldthorpe, Rotherham, from 1963 to 1974. The Oxford Movement refers to the activities and ideas of a small group of individuals at the University of Oxford who argued against the increasing secularisation of the Church of England, and sought to recall it to its heritage of apostolic order, and to the catholic doctrines of the early church fathers.
