    448pp, (2.75 x 4 inches), frontis illustration (the holy family), all edges gilt. States "printed in Czechoslovakia." Only Fair condition in flexible black leather-like covers, no dust jacket (It did not have one). The covers are worn, edges rubbed, spine has a short tear. The owner has put ordinary scotch tape along the edges and at both spine ends. The endpapers are chipped and creased, quite a few pages have corner creases, little chips. The pages are a little tanned, but no markings. Binding sound. Clearly a well-used and loved little Polish language Catholic prayer book. Laid in are a Holy Card of the Virgin Mary with the Christ Child (Marka Bosca) and a little note from the owner to her son, explaining that this was grandmother's prayerbook.
