Zustand: Fair. 1860. 95 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Brown cloth with gilt lettering. Book has been rebound by library, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Rough cut pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with creased corners and foxing. Large tears to rear pull out. Boards have been moderately rub worn, with noticeable shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a little frayed and spine ends are crushed, with small splits and chips. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.

Boards have visible edge wear with corner bumping. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Fraying with loss to spine edges. Heavy white marks to rear board. Black marks overall.

What is impressive about this volume are the plates, the fold out sketch of the View of the White Horse which in 1813 was still of historical interest , hand coloured fold out plate of the stained glass windows Ockwells House, Windsor Castle, and architectural ornaments in Avington Church. Interior clean with no inscriptions, marks, tears or folds and all pages tight in binding. Marbled board covers generally clean , some slight wear to edges.
