Broché de l'époque, très poussiéreux, bosselé et gratté. 2 feuillets de préface avec portrait de titre gravé en pleine figure ("gravé par Green"), 37 pages (page VI en chiffres romains). Certaines pages et zones sont plus fortement brunies, le portrait a des bords humides sur le bord inférieur de la page, 2 courtes déchirures sur les bords ont été recouvertes de filmoplast transparent. Etat général satisfaisant. --- Broschur der Zeit, stark angestaubt, randbestoßen und beschabt. 2 Blatt Titelei mit gestochenem Titelporträt in ganzer Figur ( 'engraved by Green' ), 37 Seiten ( bis Seite VI römisch paginiert ). Einige Seiten und Stellen sind stärker gebräunt, Porträt am unteren Seitenrand mit Feuchträndern, seitlich wurden 2 kurze Randeinrisse mit durchsichtigem Filmoplast hinterlegt. Insgesamt befriedigender Zustand. Concerne le fils unique de l'Empereur Napoléon Ier, décédé tôt en tant que "roi de Rome". - Soi-disant après sa mort, les deux auteurs ont écrit le présent "poème célèbre" (cf. Meyer 6e édition, - notre exemplaire, cependant, déjà avec l'année de publication 1829 ! - Dans une annexe à partir de la page 21, les circonstances politiques sont expliqué qui a conduit au rejet par le tribunal viennois. --- Betrifft Kaiser Napoleons I. einzigen früh als 'König von Rom' verstorbenen Sohn. - Angeblich auf dessen Tod verfaßten die beiden Autoren das hier vorliegende 'berühmte Gedicht' (vgl. Meyer 6. Leather spine is chipped and worn with much of it gone but the large green leather spine label is still present and gilt is legible. Brown marbled hardpaper boards are a little rubbed. Interior has two book plates, owner signature that looks contemporary, some foxing of the endpapers. Interior title page has a nice little engraving and their are clever and charming head and tail pieces throughout. Some minor foxing and age darkening but still sturdy and attractive. ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 221 pages; Bonham 2014.
