Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Fair. 1st Edition. RARE to find this book with a jacket. It is a damaged jacket, but it is just about there. The front panel has areas at the top edge that are missing, but nothing 'live' is lost. There are a few chips to the bottom edge as well. The front flap has the price, and is complete, as is the rear flap. The rear panel is not as damaged as the front, and the spine has the title word 'Peter' missing and at the bottom there is another section lost. But the jacket is more than a mere ghost, and although it is tatty it has protected the pale blue cloth board binding, which means the gilt titling is still bright. The text block is firm and clean, no markings or underlinings. This is not an ex-library copy. It does have a former owner's blind stamp on the half title, but this is rather attractive.
