Wilhelm Busch (1832-1908) was a German caricaturist, poet, and painter who became well known for his satirical picture stories. One of the most famous of these was of Max & Moritz and their pranks. Carl Adolf Lorenz composed music to two of the pranks which are published in this delightful work. Wraps protected by mylar jacket. Small stamp of previous owner near bottom edge of both wrappers. Minor pulling to parts of edges. In German. With text and musical score. Very good condition.
