This is a rarer Pacific Books (Australia) publication of an Australian reconstruction in novel form of a wartime naval battle between both HMAS Perth (on which the author served) and USS Houston, and a Japanese invasion force in February March 1942 off Java. The 2 allied ships were eventually sunk but only after sinking 15 Japanese vessels. 309 pages. Minor tanning and foxing and creasing on spine. But otherwise intact. Quoted postage for UK 2nd class.
