Our researches indicate that the author attained the rank of Wing Commander in WWII and also served as an Intelligence Officer at Bletchley Park. He was the author of at least two other books - Strange Intelligence and Nuremberg Forty Years on. Good/ Fair (Book- a little general soiling to cloth, end papers browned, author signature as above with a previous owner name in ink to top margin. Dust Jacket - quite grubby with chips and tears - the most significant being 4 cm approx to top front panel. Tide marks from liquid splashes to tanned spine. Now in a removable proprietary protective sleeve to which pieces of coloured paper have been inserted to mask the stark white of the backing paper so as not to offend the eye on the bookshelf.
