Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. W. Heath Robinson (illustrator). Not Stated. The Musson Book Company, Toronto, circa 1910. A very good hardcover. The pages are clean and the binding is tight. There are about 40 pages. Rudyard Kipling's eulogy written upon the death of King Edward VII, illustrated throughout by W. Heath Robinson. Rudyard Kipling's eulogy to King Edward VII on his death on the 6th May 1910. Kipling managed to have the poem written and published in eleven days. The eulogy is reminiscent of eulogies of medieval or Tudor Kings, rather than the constitutional monarch that Edward was. Kipling had a deep respect for the monarchy, and had also written a tribute to Queen Victoria when she escaped an assassination attempt in 1882.
