Serialized in Adventure magazine, July-September 1915 (3 parts) First book edition published by Cassell, London & New York, 1916. This American Edition published in 1917. Munday adopted an anti-colonialist stance and expressed a positive interest in Asian religion and philosophy. The book is a Romance of Adventure which is set in India under British Occupation. It features a Princess Yasminie, tough, brave Sikh warriors and a 'brute'of a horse called Bagh. 330, [1] p., [5] leaves of plates : ill. ; 20 cm. Text bloc is very clean and very bright for its age. Only mark - a small name and 'Happy Birthday' to the title page. Binding is tight and square. Deep brown cloth features a very attractive, pictorial portrait of a turbaned Sikh.
