No Jacket. 1st Edition. hardback, large heavy quarto measuring 12 1/2" x 10 1/4", bound in purple morocco lettered and ruled gilt, all edges gilt, armorial device to upper board, patterned endpapers. The leather has some scuffing and rubbing but has been neatly re-coloured and polished, the binding remains tight but there is some scattered foxing, A London Guilds bookplate on the front pastedown identifies this as a subscribers copy No. 339 belonging to F H French, esq.
