Zustand: Very Good. First edition. Undated and no publisher given, just designer and printer. Probably privately published by the artist's family and friends, c.1995 from contents. Paperback: pictorial card wrappers, 173pp, large quarto. With b&w and some colour reproductions of paintings by Tony Rampton throughout. Main text by Ian Simpson, based on a long interview with Rampton in the year of his death, 1993. Tony Rampton began painting full time on his retirement from business; many are of the Isle of Arran, where he had a house; mostly in a direct, unfussy, impressionistic style of everyday scenes and his family. Very Good. Light rubbing to wrapper edges. Gift inscription on title page in ink.
