Hardcover. Zustand: Good. COVERS IN NEAR FINE CONDITION, INTERIOR IN GOOD ++ CONDITION. SCARCE, as most of Urbani's works appear to have been lost. Circa 1795, Book 1st and 2d. ENGRAVED PAGES. [James Johnson Sculpt. Edinr.] Titles surrounded by ornate borders showing song with musical notation. MAY BE AUTHORS PERSONAL COPY, as there is an ink stamp on bottom of both title pages "PU" encircled. Book 1st - Title [1], Dedication to The Countess of Balcarras, Advertisement, 4pp Subscribers Names, 51pp. Book 2d - Title [1], Advertisement, Dedication to Lady Katharine Douglas, 4pp Subscribers Names, 50pp. Both uniformly bound in contemporary half leather and brown cloth, with bright gilt lettering on spines, laid paper on endpapers and ffp's. Songs notated for Violini, Viola, Canto, Harps, and Voice, with songs in English text. Wandering damp mark in both volumes, worse in Book 2d. Binding and hinges tight.
