Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. 2nd Edition. London: Constable & Co. Ltd, with a superb and typical frontispiece colour illustration by W. Heath Robinson. The body of the book has numerous black and white illustrations, some of them full-page, by Robinson. Original pictorial green cloth binding, with a front panel stamped in white and gold. The spine panel is darkened. The top of the text block is still with the original green staining, and the leading edge and bottom edge is left untrimmed. This was the first illustrated edition, the poetry only collection being first published in 1913. Includes a selection of charming poems dealing with witches and fairies. Cloth covered binding has firm undamaged corners but the rear panel has some staining. Title page is darkened from the tissue guard pertinent to the colour illustration opposite, as usual with such issues. A very pleasing and collectable copy of a charming book.
