Hardcover. Zustand: Near Fine. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Good. Geoffrey Miller (Wood Engravings) (illustrator). 1st Edition. In lovely clean condition bound in bright cloth boards with crisp title lettering in gilt on the spine and contrast shade type on the front board. Neat gift inscription on the front fly leaf. The pages are lovely and clean, albeit with toning and mild foxing to the end papers and page block edge. The dust jacket is not in best condition but is still fairly bright, although price clipped, edge worn, with chipping and minor loss to the extremities and a tear the whole length of the book on the front hinge (Held together by the removable jacket sleeve, which will prevent any further damage or loss.) Sun discoloured/toned, more especially on the spine. In all, despite the jacket's flaws this is still a very decent copy of quite a scarce book.
