Wallis.This is an interesting biographical account of the life of Thomas Stothard (1755-1834), the English painter, illustrator and engraver. Stothard helped to design illustrations of almanacs, portraits of popular actors, and different editions of popular works. These include 'The Pilgrim's Progress' by John Bunyan as well as William Cowper's 'Poems', and Alexander Pope's 'Rape of the Lock'.Contents of this work include 'The Essayists', 'Stothard and the Novelists', 'The Annuals', and 'The Royal Engagement Pocket Atlas'.This work was written by A. C.
