Mimeographed production; profusely illustrated with counter-cultural doodles, staples are a bit rusted, cover detached with minor staple perforations, fore-edge a bit handled, covers a bit toned, else in very good condition. Prose by prisoner Tommy Trantino as well as a letter signed off "Free Tommy Trantino Free." The inlaid handbill, titled "Cloud House," is 8.5x14 inches, middle-folded, some minor toning and soil marks. Handbill shares date and times for Cloud House poetry readings, daily hours, and more. An anthology of poetry, sketches, and less-categorizable contributions from Cloud House, a poetry neighborhood collective which has been described by Richard Hack as "A live-work space hosted by Kush, a New Yorker with a Whitmanesque mission to spread poetry, comradeship, and democracy. Famous poets and unknown writers all spent time in the sage-scented circle of The Cloud House, reading and communing by kerosene lamp, candles, or electric light. The heyday of The Cloud House was the late 1970s at 3253 Sixteenth Street, between Guerrero and Dolores." Kush also published Blake Times. Cloud House was was associated with anywhere between 35 to 50 writers.
