Il s'agit de La Pentecôte, par Guido Reni(dit Le Guide) et de Saint-Félix, du Guerchin. "[.] On m'apprend qu'il n'y a que ces deux tableaux qui conviennent à la Gallerie du Roi, et que M. Denon qui a été consulté en a fixé le prix à cinquante mille francs quoique je dusse espérer d'après l'opinion des artistes qui les ont vus, d'en obtenir un prix beaucoup plus considérable. Je consents [sic] puisque c'est pour le muséum de Sa Majesté de les donner pour cinquante mille francs [.]". Elle demande à son correspondant de faire payer cette somme à son beau frère M. de Geouffre.
