Más tarde Biscay viajó hasta Perú. Sus observaciones sobre estos países, se refieren a los habitantes, indígenas y españoles, y a las ciudades, comercio, fertilidad y riquezas.Este es también uno de los primeros libros de viajes por Sudamérica de un autor no nacido en España.Los viajeros que recorrieron en la época colonial el actual territorio argentino, tienen ganado un puesto en el conocimiento de nuestra historia. No se puede prescindir de sus juicios, apreciaciones, informes o referencias, acerca del estado político, social, militar o religioso en el momento en que visitaron el Río de la Plata. Ofrecen en sus relatos coloridas pinceladas de la vida colonial.
