This catalogue was published to accompany the exhibition held at Fischer Fine Art, London from 15 May to 27 June 1986. The exhibition consisted of a carefully curated selection of objects and furniture, mostly from the Victorian and Edwardian periods. The designers of these items included A.W.N.Pugin, Charles Barry, M.H.Baillie Scott, Philip Webb and E.W.Godwin.

Martin as well as numerous illustrations, some in color. The book has sound hinges and does not lean. Pages are clean without toning, creases, marks, stains or wrinkles. There is a single 1/4" whitish spot on the book's front cover, otherwise the black cloth covers are clean and the gilt lettering on the spine is clean and bright. The upper left corner of the back cover is just slightly blunted at the tip; other cover corners are not bumped. There are a few tiny dents in the top and bottom edges of the book's covers. The book's dust jacket is not soiled but does show a lot of rubbing and light scratches. There is some wear to the jacket's top and bottom edges, but no holes, chips or tears. We will put a clear archival sleeve on the dust jacket to keep it looking good. (Note: Photos may show a flash reflection.) PayPal always welcome.
